HALL OF SHAME

Unfortunately, not everyone shares the high standards and respect for Texas Military Department Service Members as MacFergus Medals and our partners. This has resulted in some people cutting corners and even disregarding TMD regulations to save a few dollars.

Some of the big vendors and even some local authorities have been putting out a Texas Faithful Service Medal ribbon that does not match the colors listed in Texas Military Department Regulation 1-07, State Military Awards (dated Sep. 10, 2022). I have both versions of these available if you are trying to make a medal match a ribbon you have, or if you are trying to make a ribbon match the medal you have. 

The ribbon on the left is the new one being put out by vendors, the one on the right matches the regulations. See them side-by-side and above a standard issue medal to compare. 

In the miniature version, only the ribbon that matches the TMD regulation colors is available
