Here is a mount that was done by a different company. Not only is the Texas Faithful Service ribbon the wrong colors, the Texas Medal of Merit and Texas State Guard Service Ribbon use the cheapest ribbon material possible.

I have been an UltraThin customer for over 23 years, and their work has always been impeccable. This became even more important when looking to add State of Texas awards to my racks after joining the Texas Army National Guard after active duty. My later service in the Texas State Guard led to many more frustrations with trying to get medals and ribbons that were awarded to me, a sentiment I believe most of you have also experienced.

Other medals businesses either don't have State of Texas awards, or the ones they have are poor quality material sourced from overseas. You can see from the photos above that the materials and craftsmanship used by UltraThin are stellar, matching the same standards as United States federal awards.  

In addition to their long history of excellence, UltraThin has recently purchased the high-quality ribbon yardage and medallions for Texas State Guard awards from us that you have become accustomed to as loyal members of the MacFergus Medals family. Our partnership has also greatly accelerated our efforts to get the last few remaining miniature Texas State Guard ribbons to be made to U.S. specifications. It's a relief to no longer be alone in the effort. 

In addition to the traditional ribbon racks, UltraThin can beautifully mount large medals and miniature medals. They are also the only company in the United States that I have found that will do the British style of court mounting medals, perfect for wear with your kilt! 

Most importantly, UltraThin has been the only other medals business that shares our level of respect for State of Texas military awards, and the service of Texas Military Department service members.
